The first of these products that I got to try was Private Selection's Green Chile Ranch Seasoning Rub and Texas Inspired BBQ Kettle Potato Chips.
Private Selection's Green Chile Ranch Seasoning Rub |
First, the Green Chile Ranch Seasoning Rub was... alright. To be honest, I prefer little to no additional seasoning on my grilled meats, so that I can better experience the natural flavor of the meat itself. I'm a bit of a purist. This seasoning rub is a little strong for my liking, and it is not something I will purchase again in the future. My boyfriend, on the other hand, does like to spice things up on the grill occasionally and he says he will continue to use it when he makes burgers for himself.
Private Selection's Texas Inspired BBQ Kettle Potato Chips |
Now, regarding the Texas Inspired BBQ Kettle Potato Chips... GOSH DARN IT I LOVE THESE. I have put these in the shopping cart three times since I first tried them. The flavor reminds me of a more sophisticated and grown-up version of Fritos Flavor Twists Honey BBQ corn snacks, an old road-trip favorite of mine. I just can't get enough of these chips, and I highly recommend giving them a try. The Texas Inspired BBQ Kettle Potato Chips are usually priced at $2.99 at Smith's (a little more expensive than your average Lays, and a little less expensive than your exclusive Cape Cod). You can always trust Smith's to offer great prices through sales and coupons on their app - these chips are currently on sale for 2 for $5, and there might still be a coupon available for $0.60 off. I already used my coupon to restock my chip supply, so I can continue to fuel this BBQ addiction!
